Bio/CV

I am a freelance writer with experience in arts and culture journalism as well as activism and social justice reportage. My writing focuses on the intersections of media, culture, and identity. I am most interested and invested in projects that connect the dots between established institutions and groups at the margins.

I landed my first piece of music writing in 2016, which was an anticolonial critique of the music of Daft Punk. My bylines have appeared in The Boston Globe and WBUR. From 2018 to 2021, I was a regular contributor for the Boston Hassle

I've taught writing workshops for institutions such as Tufts University, Wheaton College, the School of Arts and Social Justice, and Subcontinental Drift Boston

I am a founding member of Coolitude Arts Collective, an Indo-Caribbean and Indo-diasporic community arts organization based in Queens, New York.
